My Credentials

I'm a former Press Photographer with Johnston Press plc for 8 years. I am a member of the National Union of Journalists and have a full DBS (formerly CRB) check.

I have had work published in national media (eg Daily Mail) as part of my employment with local press including the Daily Mail 'supergran' jewellery heist.

I regularly covered The Northampton Saints RFC home and away, Northampton Town FC (The Cobblers) and Northampton Cricket Club mixed in with Towcester Racecourse and local football/hockey/tennis/martial arts competitions! All in a days work as a press photographer who can have as many as ten jobs a day to get to.

Everything from Breaking News, Police drugs raids (Operation Guardian with Northants Police), Sports, Fashion, Portraits and charity PR has been the bread and butter stuff of my career whilst working for the newspapers.

I'm a part time Youth Work assistant with www.youthinspired.co.uk and am currently in the process of managing the website, social media and their Press and PR.

I am listed on the Northampton County Council approved media list for internal press and PR (interviewed and references checked) for 2013. I have created short video interviews as part of their volunteering campaign.

I'm also heavily involved with The Henry Allen Appeal and launched the website, twitter feed and am part of the core team who are running the appeal.

So far we've raised £45,000 since February! I volunteer my photography/social media skills covering events and have had a few stories published in MK News and The Milton Keynes Citizen as a result.

The appeal is on going and constantly providing new challenges not to mention highlighting the fight of Henry who's soon to turn 4 years old and is battling Neuroblastoma (cancer) for a second time.

As part of my Masters Degree in Photography at Leicester DeMontfort University I photographed Burlesque shows which started the Missy Pixels side to my career.. I highly recommend it if you're considering studying photography.

As part of the degreee I exhibited a photographic show alongside other talented photographers such as Andy Greaves at The Custard Factory, Birmingham in 2009. A Blurb book for the show is available...
